Ecuador’s deforestation:

Ecuador’s deforestation has a significantly high rate of forest loss, over the years sciences researched deforestation in frost land. Due to soil erosion conditions, the exponential loss of forest biomass is not being registered. The ecological conditions and deforestation that were recorded in the database supply extraordinarily little Information is degrading to ecologists who would like to learn more about deforestation and how to help in the restoration process.

Due to the economic crisis that Ecuador is facing, the country does not have the resource to rebuild and restore all the forest lands. If the small town and villagers have the financial resources, the people of those towns and villages could make a commitment to help restore and rebuild conservation by planting trees and restoration of landscaping creating habitats for other species.

There are some parts of Ecuador where people were giving the Socio Bosque financial funding from the government to support some parts of the forest lands. However, given the lack of technological resources, the government has a challenging time checking the people that were giving the funding and as a result, the program was lost. It was devastating because the program helps to restore a large area of forest lands and create habitat for other species. There is still a considerable amount of land space left to be restored to reduce deforestation.

Another environmental issue is oil expansion and mining are creating an environmental issue because of deforestation in soil erosion which leads to soil loss. However, the mining industry has been growing exponentially over the years. The problem with the mining and oil industry is the area in which these companies are found. The companies are in national parks and native territories where the law is prohibited.

These companies are growing exponentially throughout Ecuador creating deforestation throughout the country. According to exports these companies and their extractive agricultural ventures will continue to grow for years to come. Environmental research presented to exploit natural resources by these companies shows a significant amount of shortcoming resulting that leads to environmental issues.

For example, the destruction of mountains, forest land, and rivers because of digging and mining cannot be environmentally friendly. Because this is resulting in a significant amount of habitat loss and agricultural resources for the painting of trees for vegetation.

The government does so little to stop this

expansion because they are more focused on the economic crisis that the country is facing. Another issue that is facing Ecuador is the inability of preserving its water supply the country has limited resources for the recycling of wastewater. According to ecologist Ecuador do not have wastewater treatment plants in its major cities the wastewater from its major cities is being dumped into the Machángara River that runs into the Guay LaBamba river which results in the pollution of both rivers. People who reside in those areas have little resources for water. Overall, Ecuador's government needs to put national infrastructure initiatives in place to care for their rivers, national parks, and forest.
